No AI Training

We do not use your artwork, graffiti strokes, or data to train public AI or machine-learning models.

1. Scope & Overview

This Privacy Policy applies to all information collected, transmitted, or submitted through the Digital Graffiti website (digitalgraffiti.me), the Digital Graffiti Wall interactive installation application, and our artwork sharing services.

Digital Graffiti is based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. We build digital art experiences with privacy by default, ensuring visitors and clients can create freely without unnecessary data collection or surveillance.

2. Information We Collect & How We Treat It

Interactive Wall & Hardware Tracking

The Digital Graffiti Wall utilizes physical custom spray cans equipped with optical 3D tracking, nozzle pressure sensors, and wireless communication (ESP-NOW).

  • All spatial tracking, pressure curves, color selection, and paint simulation happen 100% locally in real time on the venue computer.
  • We do not record facial recognition, biometric data, camera footage, or personal telemetry.
  • No tracking data or sensor signals are transmitted to external cloud servers.

Artwork Email Sharing (Zero Email Storage)

Visitors at events can choose to send their created artwork to their personal email address or scan an on-screen QR code:

  • Transmission Only: Your email address is used strictly to dispatch the artwork image to your inbox via our automated mail relay service.
  • No Persistent Server Storage: We do not store your email address on our servers. Once the email is dispatched, recipient records are irreversibly masked (e.g., ***@domain.com) to eliminate Personally Identifiable Information (PII) from our database.
  • No Profiling: We do not build marketing profiles, do not track you across other websites, and never sell or monetize your email address.

Optional Venue Newsletter Opt-In

Some venues or event hosts provide an optional checkbox allowing visitors to opt in to the host's newsletter. If you explicitly check this box, your email is relayed directly to that specific venue's designated newsletter marketing service (e.g., Mailchimp or Klaviyo) as requested. Digital Graffiti itself does not retain or store your unmasked email address.

Artwork Images & Public Galleries

Rendered artwork files (the digital paintings created during an installation session) may be stored securely on cloud object storage (Cloudflare R2) so visitors can view and download their artwork via their unique sharing link or QR code, and so event organizers can display public event galleries. These image files contain no personal visitor names, identities, or contact information.

Direct Contact & Event Inquiries

If you contact us via our website booking form, direct email ([email protected]), or messaging apps (WhatsApp), we use the information you provide (name, company, email, event details) solely to respond to your inquiry and coordinate bookings.

3. Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning

Digital Graffiti does not use your artwork, drawings, or interaction data for AI model training. We cannot sell or exploit your data for AI training because we do not collect or maintain a repository of user-identifiable creative works.

4. Infrastructure & Hosting

The Digital Graffiti website, artwork delivery endpoints, and cloud storage are hosted and secured on Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages, Cloudflare Workers, and Cloudflare R2).

Cloudflare operates at the network edge and processes standard web request metadata (such as IP addresses and browser user-agent headers) solely for traffic routing, performance caching, and security protection (such as DDoS and bot mitigation) in accordance with Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

5. Information Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, trade, or distribute your personal information to third parties. We may disclose information only if required by lawful subpoenas, court orders, or applicable European or international laws, or to investigate and defend against illegal activities or security attacks.

6. Accessing, Modifying, or Deleting Your Data

Because we do not use accounts and do not retain visitor email addresses on our servers (masking them immediately upon delivery), we hold no persistent personal records linked to event participants.

If you have contacted us via email or our contact form, or if you wish to request the removal of a specific artwork image created at an event, please reach out to us at [email protected] with the artwork link or relevant details, and we will promptly handle your request.

7. European Union (GDPR / AVG) Compliance

As an organisation based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, Digital Graffiti complies with the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Dutch Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming (AVG).

Under the GDPR/AVG, you have the right to request access to, rectification of, or erasure of any personal data we hold about you. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

8. California (CalOPPA / CCPA) & Global Compliance

We comply with the California Online Privacy Protection Act and California Consumer Privacy Act by default: we do not sell personal data, do not share personal information with third parties for marketing, and do not track users across the web.

9. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

Digital Graffiti interactive installations are designed for creative entertainment and can be enjoyed by people of all ages. We do not knowingly collect, store, or solicit personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Union).

10. Your Consent & Changes to This Policy

By using our website, contacting us, or sharing artwork from our interactive installations, you consent to this Privacy Policy.

If we update or amend our privacy practices, changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
